Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and oversee the production and maintenance of mechanical systems and products. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with problem-solving skills to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions that meet client and organisational requirements.
Work Environment: On-site locations and aerodrome environments. May involve travel to other sites, clients, or field installations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, and test mechanical components, equipment, and systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and cost analyses for proposed projects.
- Select appropriate materials, manufacturing methods, and processes for product development.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technicians.
- Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve issues in mechanical designs and systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Continuously research and implement innovative technologies, methods, and tools to improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
(experience will be considered)
- Experience in mechanical analysis, and project management.
- Proficiency with CAD software (ideally).
- Understanding of Mechanical principles – thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
