Manchester Airport Cargo Centre – Heat Meter
The Challenge
To ensure capture of engergy usage and correct billing for each tenant and their individual property, rather than the current average usage and billing system.
The Solution
We supplied a design to install both compliant and certifiable heat meters to each tenant location, which also fed back live data to the Manchester Airport Group utilities billing department.
The Outcome
The design provided a successful separation of individual tenants premises and heat energy usage from the district heating scheme.
The works completed were beneficial to both landlord and tenants.
Negotiation
Negotiation with tenants to gain access to premises to complete mechanical and electrical works, ensuring minimum distruption to their daily operation.
Completion
Project estimated program of 8 weeks was completed and handed over within agreed time scales.
Improvement
The scheme delivered an improved and transparent billing system which enhanced landlord and tenant relationships.
